Northwest's narita comfort zones

Northwest Airlines maintains two WorldClubs lounges at its Narita hub, catering to members leaving on its 24 daily departures to the United States and other destinations in the Asia-Pacific region.

One lounge is on the third floor of the New Central Terminal near gate 26, and the other is on the fourth floor of Satellite 2 above gates 21 to 25. The first is open daily from 1pm to 7pm. The other is open daily from 8am to 9pm. Both lounges provide newspapers, magazines, fax and photocopy services, and laptop workstations with data port and Net access. The fourth-floor lounge has a conference room with TVs, VCRs, overhead projectors and whiteboards. Complimentary refreshments include coffee, tea, soft drinks, juices, alcoholic beverages, cheeses, cookies, crackers, pastries and nuts. Diced fruit is available in the morning.

The airline operates one daily return flight between Hong Kong and Narita. It also flies to Beijing, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Bangkok, Pusan, Seoul, Guam, Manila, Nagoya, Saipan and Singapore. Northwest also offers non-stop services from Osaka to Detroit, and to Taipei, and from Nagoya to Detroit, Manila and Saipan. Northwest has US hubs at Detroit, Memphis and Minneapolis/St Paul and a European hub in Amsterdam.
