Do you know the difference between 'regard' and 'regards'?

Regard (v) - to think or to consider

If you regard someone as having a particular quality, you believe they have that quality.

Regard (n) - respect, attention

When you have regard for someone, you have respect for them.

Regard (prep) - regarding

'With regard to/in regard to' is used to introduce the subject you are talking about.

Regards (n) - good wishes

When you send your regards to someone, you express friendly sentiments towards them.
