Where?
The two-storey boutique in Rotterdam has recently moved from its old address on Oude Binnenweg to the Witte de Withstraat, an arty strip that is home to several galleries and a dance school. The shop features an exhibition area for photographers, and jewellery and fashion designers, and also makes room for a hair salon and a lounge area, where customers can relax while browsing through art books and clothes racks.
Who?
The store is run by Margreeth Olsthoorn, who used to design her own collections but is currently too busy with the new shop. She sources all the brands herself.
Fashion finds: the boutique covers men's and women's wear and boasts brands such as Martin Margiela, Hussein Chalayan, Acne from Stockholm and the label E from Italy, as well as hip local designers. Belgian accessory brands such as Bella shoes and Wouters & Hendrix jewellery are also showcased.
The crowd: customers are stylish trend-setters on the lookout for new labels. The clientele includes designers, dancers and other creative types.
