What makes you buy a gadget?

'How much worth a product has -   based on its features and how often I would use it -  in relation to its price.  For example, although  iPods  are  quite popular these days  due to their large storage capacity,   I won't buy one because I have no use for all that memory space.   Plus, they're expensive.'

One gadget you can't live without and why? 'My laptop, because it's  my source of music and games.  I also use it a lot for schoolwork and to communicate with friends.'
