Contrary to an outdated stereotype, there are people who are both personable and computer-savvy. A local internet company has a plum job for those of you who like talking on the telephone while surfing the Net.
Pacific Internet (Hong Kong) is looking for someone who is customer-oriented and has a good telephone manner.
This leading supplier of internet services is looking for a customer service officer to provide telephone hotline services for a group of corporate customers. Tasks include handling after-sales account services and complaints, so those who see problems as opportunities and enjoy helping others would be perfect in this role.
Additional duties include order status tracking, and experience in handing bill inquiries will make the learning curve easier.
Having the ability to maintain strong relationships with existing customers and negotiate retention offers will make you a star, as will taking on ad hoc projects and other duties as assigned. Ideal candidates will have a keen interest in the Net and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. This job is ideal for someone with a diploma or degree in business administration and at least two years of customer service experience, preferably with an ISP or in the telecoms field.
Although you will be working with a team, you will at times have to solve problems independently, so being motivated is an asset.
