Summer may be over, but sunglasses are a year-round fashion necessity - just ask Vogue honcho Anna Wintour. Louis Vuitton's new permanent sunglasses collection ($3,250 to $4,450) comes hot on the heels of the Pharrell Williams-designed range and took two years to develop. Designed by Marc Jacobs, the glasses are inspired by film noir and are grouped in six collections - Suspicion, Obsession (below; $3,500), Falsehood, Plot, Conspiracy and Blackmail - with 12 styles in 42 variations. If that isn't enough to choose from, each pair boasts such details as lenses that reduce glare and enrich colours, specially designed glitter pigments, frames engraved with miniature LV logos and hinges inspired by Louis Vuitton trunks. The frames will be available at Louis Vuitton boutiques from next month (inquiries: 2736 6100).
