power waste firm delays purchase circular again
China Conservational Power Holdings, formerly chaired by Abba Chan Tat-chee, has delayed again a circular for a 49 per cent stake in a mainland drugmaker to November 7 to further revise financial information. Mr Chan was arrested by the Independent Commission Against Corruption for allegedly misappropriating $100 million from two listed firms.
mainland malls boost hang lung rental income
Hang Lung Properties executive director Terry Ng Sze-yuen said the firm's mainland shopping centre portfolio would boost its mainland rental income to about 50 per cent of its total in seven years. Mainland rental revenue for the year to June was $567.6 million, compared with $1.85 billion for Hong Kong properties.

Sun Hung Kai Properties plans to roll out 72 units of its 1,514-unit mass-housing project, Harbour Green, in Tai Kok Tsui for property club members next month. Prices will be set at about $5,500 per square foot but a 0.6 per cent discount will be offered.
