Schoolboy beaten by vandal classmates

A schoolboy was beaten by two classmates during recess at their school in Tsing Yi yesterday - the third student-related assault in 10 days. The Form Two pupil, 14, discovered two classmates vandalising a rubbish bin at Caritas St Joseph Secondary School in Fung Shue Wo Road at about 11am. Fearing that he would report them, the two boys allegedly assaulted him in a classroom, police said. After school, the victim complained of stomach pains to his mother, who dialled 999. He was taken to Princess Margaret Hospital and discharged after a check-up. Police said that no arrest was made and officers were investigating.
