KCRC TO PUT TAI WAI HOME PROJECT UP FOR GRABS
Kowloon-Canton Railway Corp plans to start inviting expressions of interest to develop a large-scale residential project atop a maintenance centre adjacent to Tai Wai Station on Friday.
The project, the fourth residential development by the rail firm, has a site area of 7.09 hectares that can be developed into properties with a gross floor area of 3.65 million square feet.
The development, expected to be completed by 2010, allows for 12 residential blocks with 4,303 flats. Two schools and a multi-function community centre will also be developed. Ernest Kong
PEOPLES PHONE EXTENDS TALK OVER STAKE SALE
China Resources Peoples Telephone yesterday said its board had agreed with China Mobile (Hong Kong) to extend the latter's exclusive right to negotiate its proposed acquisition of a 66.54 per cent stake in Peoples Telephone for two days until today.
