YOUNG MAN'S SEARCH FOR TRUTH A local theatre group will stage Dance Me to the End of Love which combines dance, story-telling and live music. Theatre du Pif's performance is inspired by the well-known novel Siddhartha written by Nobel Prize winner for literature, Hermann Hesse. It is about the journey of a young man in search of the truth of life. The production will feature songs by Canadian singer Leonard Cohen. Dance Me to the End of Love will be performed in English with Chinese subtitles. It will be staged today and Saturday at 8pm, and on Sunday at 3.30pm, at the Cultural Activities Hall of Sha Tin Town Hall. Tickets cost $120, with half-price concessions for students. INSIGHT INTO GLOOMY WORLD Local dance company Spring Poetry will present Hades' Invitation, a portrait of the world of the dead which blends modern dance, jazz, video and computer effects. Spring Poetry was established by Terry Tsui and Lonce Yu in 1992. Members include students and graduates of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts as well as amateur dancers with physical disabilities.
