THE sixth event last night produced two horses it will most definitely pay to follow.

The race was won by Super Win Boo but the horses that mattered were Successful Way and Applause.
The latter was hard to miss as he was backed down solidly, particularly in the quinella pool.
Trained by Ivan Allan, Applause was ridden by Frankie F. C. Lor and looked a top chance in the run.
Applause eventually finished fourth but those who lost money can content themselves with the knowledge that they will surely get it back. The longer sprint was not ideal for Applause but he is quickly learning what the game is about and he will win.

The run of Successful Way, who finished just out of the frame, was excellent as he clearly needed this hit-out.
