ENGLISH striker Tony Sealy celebrated his return to the Eastern first team by heading home the opening goal which paved the way to the champions' 4-1 win over Voicelink at the Mongkok Stadium last night.
The victory was Eastern's sixth on the trot and consolidated their position at the top of the Hong Kong First Division while sinking their opponents deeper into relegation trouble. Voicelink have yet to collect a league point from five outings.
Newcomers Voicelink stubbornly held back the Eastern onslaughts for the first half hour but their defence went to pieces after Sealy opened the scoring in the 34th minute.
Dale Tempest initiated the move with a cross from the right, Voicelink goalkeeper Mak Kwok-fai palmed it out but Sealy was on hand to head it into an empty net.
Ross Greer added another for Eastern only two minutes later, heading in a cross from Lee Kin-wo.
Voicelink pulled one back two minutes into the second half with Tim Bredbury floating in a long ball into the Eastern goalmouth where Ronny Proos headed home.
