Alicia Keys' Unplugged stylishly combines soul, hip-hop, blues and jazz, making it a perfect album for relaxation. The soul diva has a voice which brims with energy and emotion. Unplugged features acoustic versions of songs from her previous albums, including the highly successful The Diary of Alicia Keys. Keys' strength lies in her interpretation of slow- and mid-tempo ballads. She is at her best when performing powerful ballads such as If I Ain't Got You and If I Was Your Woman, which effortlessly fuse pop, jazz and R&B, thanks to her forceful vocals. Other outstanding tracks include the atmospheric Streets of New York (City Life) and a beautiful rendition of the Rolling Stones' Wild Horses, which features Adam Levine from Maroon 5. While Unplugged may not be Keys' most significant album, it certainly reflects her musical talent.
