Where? In the bustling Suria KLCC mall - Kuala Lumpur's premier shopping and entertainment centre - at the base of the towering Petronas Twin Towers.
Who? The brainchild of fashion buyer B.B. Ong and her partners, ShuZ opened in June 1999. Strictly a shoe and handbag store, it was the first in Kuala Lumpur to introduce French and Italian labels such as Manolo Blahnik and Sergio Rossi.
Fashion finds: hot-to-trot mules, heels, sandals, wedges, pumps and boots from premium labels such as Giuseppe Zanotti, Christian Louboutin and Rene Caovilla. New bestsellers include Balenciaga and Chloe bags.
The vibe: the interior of the shop has a sleek and clean design with steel-panelled shelves displaying a delightful array of shoes and bags. Ong, who decided on the concept, likens it to 'a gigantic jewellery box that contains beautiful and exquisite accessories'. The main boutique is conspicuously bright and comes complete with floor-to-ceiling mirrors, plush sofas and a sparkling jewel box in the middle of the shop.
Extras: the boutique is divided into three sections: the main area, the Giuseppe Zanotti store and the handbag shop.
