The InterContinental in Tsim Sha Tsui will hold two wine dinners in Spoon next week. On November 24, there will be a tasting of grand cru Montrachet Marquis de Laguiche, with vintages 2002, 2001, 2000, 1999, 1998, 1996 and 1995 on offer. The wines will be paired with the likes of pan-seared scallops with French aquitaine caviar, potato gnocchi with white truffle, and Bresse chicken breast with black truffle, braised Swiss chard and Albufera sauce. The dinner is $6,888 plus 10 per cent. On November 25, the Chateau Beychevelle dinner will be hosted by the winery's general manager, Philippe Blanc. The six-course meal includes Australian Wagyu with bordelaise sauce and macaroni with mascarpone, paired with the Chateau Beychevelle 1986, and the cheese course will be served with the 1996 vintage.
