Peace, Love & Truth is an album that commemorates the 25th anniversary of John Lennon's murder. It highlights the message of world peace that the former Beatle and anti-war icon promoted with his wife, Yoko Ono. The 18 songs - a combination of newly-remixed tracks and original songs - include some of Lennon's most famous hits, such as Imagine and Give Peace A Chance, rarities (Help Me to Help Myself) and lesser-known gems (Don't Wanna Be A Soldier Mama). The remixes are surprisingly good, as they preserve the spirit of the original songs while blending them with elements of popular modern music.
An all-star team of singers from across Asia -including Hong Kong's Ronald Cheng Chung-kei - are featured on a remixed version of Give Peace A Chance.
Peace, Love & Truth serves as a welcome addition to the album collection of Lennon fans -whether they are peace-loving or pro-war.
