China, UK headmasters exchange ideas
Some 80 Chinese and British headmasters gathered in Chongqing this week to exchange experience and ideas in education with the opening of the 2005 International Headmaster Development Project and the first Chinese and British Headmaster Forum. Sponsored by the cultural and education section of the British Consulate General, the project aims at promoting communication and co-operation between Chinese and British educational institutions. Ten headmasters from Britain and more than 70 schoolmasters from Chongqing-based primary and secondary schools attended the forum, exchanging ideas on a variety of topics such as the art of leadership, school stability and reform, and teacher training and management.

City U students star in finance
Three students from City University of Hong Kong won the Finance Case Study Competition organised by the Association of International Accountants. Vivian Jiang Weiyi, Sally Sun Qianhui and Vivian Lam Yi-man, final year students in accounting, beat competitors from top universities in Hong Kong, the mainland and Macau.
