In addition to Gary Chan and Derek Yeung, who won at the supervisory and junior frontline level respectively, Rain Ng and Calvin Lam formed the remainder of the merry quartet. Ms Ng, sales executive from the New Town Plaza branch, claims the key to success is treating every customer with genuine sincerity and sensitivity. She remembers one incident when a lady accidentally deleted her photo memory card - including an image of a deceased relative - and burst into tears. Ms Ng called a friend of hers who eventually retrieved the files. 'We became good friends,' she said. Mr Lam, a sales executive from the Pioneer Centre outlet in Prince Edward, claims their passion saw them through the judging. 'I have a strong belief in bringing quality customer service and I share my working tips with the panels. I always give my customers an enjoyable experience.' The HKRMA stipulated that the company which achieved the highest average ranking, or score for the team, taken from the award interviews would be selected as the company award winner. SmarTone-Vodafone demonstrated that Mr Yeung and Mr Chan were best in their category and that its staff were the best of the best.
