The Salcow

Named after its inventor (Ulrich Salcow), this jump is common in figure-skating today. Quadruple Salcows (four rotations) have emerged in world-level competitions.

The Flying Camel

In this move the skater performs what resembles a waltz jump and then lands and begins spinning in the camel position. The landing is on the right foot, which means that a flying camel spins in a 'back camel' position.

The Mohawk

Most commonly executed by ice dancers, this move is a simple one using blades and edges. The mohawk is done in a curve and the skate being put down backwards can be perpendicular to the one going forwards.
