Where can I find a lip lumper here in Hong Kong? I can't find one anywhere. Please, help!

Zipped Lips, Tsing Yi

The Dictator rules: That's because the term is 'plumper', as in, you want your lips to look plump, not like a lump, you chump. The jury's still out as to whether this is a gimmick or a genuine solution. Get pouty with NV Perricone's Lip Plumper with alpha lipoic acid in an orange sherbet flavour ($320), or the non-irritating Plump Lips by Freeze 24/7 ($380), whose effects are apparently cumulative. Both are available at Joyce Beauty (shop 220, Times Square, Causeway Bay, tel: 2970 2319). Or go for a tried and true brand, Elizabeth Arden, and its Ceramide Plump Perfect ($260; www.sasa.com). It has an SPF of 30, which will help to avoid premature ageing, such as thinning and shrivelling ... you get the picture? You could always try Lip Plump by Benefit (Lane Crawford, Times Square, tel: 2118 3638) - an enigmatic name, I know.

Help! I'm sure I saw a Bebe here in Hong Kong. Am I going nuts? I have searched all the malls in recent months, but still can't find it. Where can I get Bebe clothes and accessories here?

The Dictator: Bebe who? Neuwirth? Rebozo? Or do you mean a small French child? Sorry, that's illegal. You can also forget about it if you mean the women's wear label known for its sexy look and low prices, as seen on such celebrities as Britney Spears, Paris Hilton and Shakira (wow, what an endorsement). But don't worry, there are plenty of other shops that sell slutty gear for your Friday night crawl through Wan Chai. There are cheap 'entertainer' supply shops all over town. In Central, for example, you'll find them in Li Yuen Street East and in World Wide House. For brands of the Bebe ilk, make a one-mall stop at Harbour City in Tsim Sha Tsui. You'll love Morgan (shop 2343, tel: 2735 0296), Mango (shop 2232, tel: 2314 7395) and BCBG (shop 316, tel: 2118 3508). Miss Sixty (shop 4, Deck 2, Ocean Terminal, Tsim Sha Tsui, tel: 3102 3668) might also have pieces that suit you. Of course, all of the above could actually look nice, but you'd need some taste for that.
