Children admire China spaceman

A survey of 407 primary school students aged nine to 13 has revealed that the first Chinese astronaut, Yang Liwei , is their idol.

The survey was conducted by the health product marketing company AktivHealth from the end of last year until June.

Thirty-two per cent of the respondents selected Yang as the person they admire the most.

Also, 20 per cent said they would like to be an adventurer or an explorer when they grow up, while 17 per cent admitted they wanted to be an artist in the future.
