Even if you hide your feet in leather boots during winter, don't neglect them. Massage them with a glycerin-enriched foot cream to lock in moisture and soften rough skin.

Apivita Propoline Pedi Care Cream ($120/ 100ml) This isn't a one-hit wonder. You need to use it daily for several days for a visible improvement - but it does work!

Aveda Foot Relief ($190/ 125ml) The thick, non-greasy cream absorbs easily and won't stain stockings or socks. Has a mild, pleasant scent of lavender and menthol to keep feet smelling fresh. Works best when applied to slightly damp skin after bathing.

Scholl Deep Moisturising Cream ($48.50/ 75ml) Absorbs easily and leaves feet soft and moisturised. Would be better if it had a pleasant aroma, such as peppermint, to soothe tired feet.

Neutrogena Foot Cream ($45.90/ 56g) A good treat for ultra dry feet, as it instantly moisturises rough heels. Needs to be massaged into skin, as the cream is quite thick.

Crabtree and Evelyn Foot and Leg Therapy ($115/ 100g) Softens rough skin and has peppermint oil to pleasantly deodorise and soothe tired feet.
