People should behave better on the MTR

I take the MTR to school every day. It is fast but makes me angry every time.

When the doors open, everyone pushes their way into the compartment, even when some people haven't got out yet.

I usually stand near a post and hold it tight as it's impossible to find a seat. Often I feel something pressing on my hand - someone is leaning against the pole.

These people are impolite and selfish.

Other passengers talk loudly on their phones and show off all their ring tones.

Do people really have to behave this way? Is this part of Hong Kong 'culture'?
