Universitas appoints executive director
Professor John Spinks has been named executive director of Universitas 21 Global, an online graduate school that was established in 2001.
The new position is aimed at facilitating the development of innovative online programmes while strengthening the school's blended form of learning, which is a combination of online learning with weekend seminars and workshops.
'We are delighted to welcome Professor Spinks to the Universitas 21 Global team as we rapidly expand in the region,' said Dr Mukesh Aghi, chief executive of Universitas 21 Global.
'Universitas 21 Global is committed to offering the highest quality online postgraduate programmes to our students.'
Professor Spinks has been with the University of Hong Kong, one of Universitas' 16 member institutions, since 1977.
