The entertainment empire of Philip FungYau-leung is expanding. The developer behind Mega Hospitality International, who gave us Knutsford Terrace, is now expanding out to 8 Observatory Court. He has recently taken over the old building on the cul-de-sac around the corner from Knutsford and turned it into a four-storey entertainment complex. They are officially launching the site with a gathering tonight for friends and associates.
In case you're curious about what's there, here's a rundown: the ground floor is a watering hole called Eight Fine Irishmen, the first floor is Japanese restaurant Akita, just above is the Tex-Mex cuisine of Que Pasa and the fourth floor's Santa Fe features American-style grub. There you go, yet another reason to get out of Central every now and then.
