Happenings
Two ghosts and a witch stood at the entrance to Kei Yuen College. They were so popular that they were surrounded by students asking them for candy - it was Halloween.
Halloween has become more and more popular among Hong Kong people and Halloween parties are popular. Although we are a Christian school we had one in the hall.
Entering the hall I could feel the atmosphere of Halloween, even though not too many students participated in the event. This year, the Halloween party had a special feature.
When I first entered the hall I discovered a long queue outside a door, on which there was a sign which said Ghost House. I decided to go in. But the long queue was a problem. To me, queueing is a waste of time, but I succeeded in jumping the queue with the help of Ms Wassermann, my English teacher.
Inside the Ghost House I met four ghosts, who were disguised members of our English Society. To their surprise I burst out laughing, instead of screaming. Maybe I'm a person who doesn't believe in ghosts.
After the visit to the Ghost House I interviewed four Form One girls, who told me that the Ghost House was scary. But of course the boys had an opposite view.
