You have the idea for a new party makeup look, but what to use?
Kathy Carroll-Lea says Benefit's eyebrow kit is a good start. 'It has mini tweezers and two brushes, and that's great for parties, especially for tackling those stray brows.' It is available at Faces and Lane Crawford.
'The other thing is a new gloss brand called LipFusion [also available in Lane Crawford]. After a few minutes, lips tingle. It contains dehydrated collagen and that's said to plump up
the lips.'
Carroll-Lea recommends Yves Saint Laurent coloured mascaras, because they're muted tones but rich. 'For people going out straight from work, this is definitely the kind of thing that is going to give you a bit of an edge.'
Marie Rancoule-Vaucelle's top product is Red Earth's Secret Potion, said to give a glowing effect to skin. It's a sheer liquid lotion that looks like a foundation but gives a subtle sheen. 'It's really light,' she says.
