Due to an editing error, a sentence in a November 22 Talkback letter by Paul Wong of HKU's Hong Kong Jockey Club Centre for Suicide Research and Prevention appeared to imply that the MTR Corp installed platform screen doors after consulting a suicide study by the institution. What Mr Wong wrote in the original was that a study had found that railway suicide numbers had dropped following the installation programme. We apologise for the error.
