Hong Kong name Interport squad

The Hong Kong Football Association has announced a 20-strong squad to do battle against Guangdong in the 28th Hong Kong-Guangdong Cup, starting with the first leg on New Year's Eve. The squad, which also includes Cameroonian defender-turned-striker Gerard Ambassa Guy, is one of the strongest representative teams selected in years as the SAR look to defend their interport title. The first leg will be held at Mongkok Stadium.

The second leg is scheduled for Guangzhou on January 8 and will also act as a warm-up for next month's Carlsberg Cup tournament in which Hong Kong have been drawn against Denmark in their opening match. Croatia take on South Korea in the other match on January 29.
