More than 2,000 jobs going at recruitment forum

The Labour Department will stage a recruitment forum from 11am to 5pm at Sai Wan Ho Civic Centre on Thursday, with 14 companies, most in the retail and catering sectors, offering 2,046 job vacancies. Among positions on offer are shop manager, customer serviceassistant, store assistant, restaurant manager, cook, waiter, cashier and cleaner. Most full-time jobs offer salaries ranging from $5,000 to $10,000 a month and require applicants to have at least Form Five education. More than 70 per cent do not require experience. Job seekers can apply on the spot and may be selected for on-site interviews.
