Art lovers were out in full force for Claire Hsu-Vuchot's recent Asia Art Archive fundraising dinner at the China Club. Now in its fourth year, the event proved a major success, with proceeds topping $2.4 million in a post-dinner auction that featured many works donated by galleries and artists. Hsu's foundation is the first archive for contemporary regional art. Supporters of the event included Sotheby's, ING's private banking arm and Cartier. Present on the night were Ronald Arculli, Archie and Betty da Silva, Sotheby's Henry Howard-Sneyd, Cartier's Maxime Elgue, jade specialist Samuel Kung Ming-kwong, gallery owner Johnson Chang Tsong-zung and Bloomberg Asia boss James Ogilvy-Stuart.
