Sophomore trainer Paul O'Sullivan's remarkable season looks set to continue in winning mode at Sha Tin tomorrow when promising Dansolde steps up to 2,200 metres for the first time in the opening leg of the triple trio. As the TT was not won last Sunday, the carryover pool is expected to grow to $12 million and Dansolde has the pedigree and performance to suggest he will prove an admiral banker to start the ball rolling. O'Sullivan has been the big mover on the premiership ladder this season with 17 winners and is currently sitting equal fifth with a strike rate only bettered by tearaway leader John Size. Dansolde has been one of the many success stories from the stable, turning around some mediocre performances last season to now looking a horse of some promising following his breakthrough win last start. The Danasinga gelding showed he was on the verge of hitting his straps at his second run for the season when, as a 52-1 outsider, he came from near the tail of the field to finish fourth to Members Glory when attempting 2,000m for the first time. He looked desperately unlucky at his next outing when finishing third to Gold Master before breaking through in impressive fashion last time when defeating the in-form pair of Lucky Money and All Chances over 1,600m. Even though Dansolde makes his debut over 2,200m tomorrow, the extended trip should be just what the four-year-old is looking for, given his half brother, Great Command, captured the New Zealand Derby over 2,400m, one of his four Group wins. Dansolde looks set to get all the favours in the run from barrier two for Chris Munce and prove too strong for his main dangers, Happy Contender, Brown Beauty, Specific Sorceror, Best Choice and Fortune Gold. The middle pin lacks a bit of depth and impressive last-start winner Winning Smile is all set to repeat the dose, appealing as a solid banker. Dangers appear hard to come by with Magic Temple, Buddies Power and X-Speed all worthy of inclusion in a race that not many appear suited. In the final leg, Real Surprise looks the horse on the up following an impressive last-start third to Good To Great when giving away a big start turning for home. He is ideally suited by the rise in distance from an inside gate and should prove too strong with the dangers appearing Perseverance, Zeonic Frontier, Lord Cairns and Rich For All. Stewards yesterday concluded their inquiry into Robbie Fradd's ride on Main Attraction last weekend, with the rider being severely reprimanded. Fradd was told that his ride from the start to the 1,400m had caused stewards concerns and reminded that he should endeavour to follow the riding instructions issued to him by connections.
