Sheer coverage
Los Angeles-based makeup brand Lola has launched in Hong Kong. Its star product is Oil-free Sheer Creme Foundation Duo ($360) which aims to create a look that's natural, yet polished. The compact (above) contains two sheer shades of foundation that can be blended to match individual skin tones. Lola is available at Lane Crawford in Times Square and Faces in Ocean Terminal.
Clean removal
Clinique has introduced Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm ($240), a new makeup remover containing safflower seed oil. The product transforms from a balm to cleansing oil when massaged over skin. It sweeps away stubborn face and eye makeup - including sunscreen - while maintaining skin's natural moisture balance. The fragrance-free product is available from Clinique counters.
