The once-powerful family of Chiang Kai-shek has something else to be proud of - two of the late leader's great-grandsons have risen to fame because of their good looks.
Demos Chiang Yu-po was named the best-looking career man in Taiwan by popular job placement agency 1111 Job Bank, and younger brother Edward Chiang Yu-chang came fifth.
With his model looks, the 1.85-metre tall Demos immediately became a favourite inTaiwan when he returned from the US about five years ago. The 29-year-old runs a popular design company with his 27-year-old brother.
Both have been reported by local media as among the most desired men by Taiwanese women.
The two are members of the fourth generation of the Chiang family. Descendants of late president Chiang Ching-kuo, son of Chiang Kai-shek, are known for their good looks, due mainly to their Russian heritage since Chiang Ching-kuo's wife, Faina Chiang Fang-liang, was Russian.
According to the survey, 53.68 per cent of 1,360 respondents voted Demos the most handsome career man in Taiwan, while Edward got 13.24 per cent of the vote.
