Britney Spears' latest album, B In The Mix: The Remixes, is a mess. It features a collection of the singer's biggest hits, along with a brand new track. And Then We Kiss, remixed by Junkie XL, was featured in a television commercial for Spears' new perfume.

With the album, the record company may be hoping to cash in by repackaging Spears' old songs while she takes a break from music to care for her baby son.

The original version of And Then We Kiss is good enough to be a hit single, but the track loses its charm during the remixing process, blurring its catchy lyrics.

It's difficult to single out a track that stands out, although Everytime comes close.

Spears fans who plan to buy the CD should be aware that it has SunnComm copy protection software. It not only prevents the album from being played on a computer, but can also make the PC vulnerable to viruses and hackers.
