Top tunes: Red Hot Chili Peppers' songs

I seldom buy CDs of local bands. The only band that I sometimes listen to is Beyond. Although they have been around for some time, they are still good.  I don't like other local bands. I prefer Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nirvana, Cold Play and Radiohead because of their variety and  dynamic music.  Canto-pop is mostly about love songs.

I don't have any favourites.  I prefer listening to music  on TV. I know very little about  local bands.  When I was in secondary school, a not-so-famous band was once invited to a music show on campus. They didn't impress me.  I don't have too many CDs, and I listen to pop music mostly on radio or TV.

I don't like band music at all. I know some local bands, but I'm not familiar with their music. Band music is too noisy for me. I don't like the way they shout and their high-pitched guitar sounds.  I prefer singers, such as Faye Wong, Joey Yung, Britney Spears and Mariah Carey. I have a lot of their CDs.  I like Wong and Carey because of their great vocals and energetic  sounds.

I learn about bands in Hong Kong by watching TVB music programmes. But I don't know much about indie music. Beyond is my favourite band because I grew up listening to their songs. I also like  singers such as Jay Chou and Faye Wong, and I have many of their CDs.

Beyond is my favourite local band. I also know LMF, a big band in Hong Kong. One of my teachers likes their music. ATV has some good programmes about Hong Kong bands. Some of these groups hope to follow in the footsteps of Beyond and make their mark on the local music scene. It's hard get a hold of the CDs of not-so-famous local bands. You have to go to their websites.
