Samsung Digimaz i6 PMP:
This device is more than a PMP, or personal media player. The i6 also takes photos. It's what you would have if you mashed together a compact consumer digital camera and an iPod get a device measuring 18.5mm thick. The i6 will also play back video files on its 6cm display. The 6-megapixel camera has a 3X optical zoom and Samsung's advanced shake reduction technology to combat blurry images caused by unsteady hands. (Price: available next month for $2,500-$3,000)
SonyEricsson W810i: If you weren't captivated by the orange colour of the W800 phone from SonyEricsson, but liked its dedicated music player, compact design and sleek exterior, you can look forward to the upcoming W810i. The W810 is an updated version of the W800 that comes with a 2-megapixel digital camera with auto focus and flash. It also has a Memory Stick Duo Pro slot for storing extra music files and a 262,000-colour display. The W810i, which comes in a cool black colour, is slated to be launched by March. Pentax Optio A10: Pentax has caught up with its rivals by launching the A10, its first compact digital camera to offer 8-megapixel images. Besides the upgraded image quality, the A10 offers standard features, such as a 3X optical zoom lens, 6cm LCD screen and video support
(640 x 480 pixels at 30 frames per second). The A10 is also the first Pentax to feature a new shake reduction mechanism that prevents blurry images by adjusting the camera's internal CCD when it detects movement during a shot. (Price: around $2,800)
