Chris Munce might be riding with a stay of proceedings for last week's nine-meeting ban hanging over him, but the Australian was showing no signs of it at Sha Tin yesterday.
Munce picked up another double, which has virtually become his normal day at the office.
Munce has now joined Shane Dye on 24 winners for the season, which places him equal fourth in the championship race.
However, he will be riding from today on a stay of proceedings after late this week lodging his intention to appeal against the ban for his ride on Sean Woods-trained First Knight.
With Douglas Whyte preferring Syllabus in the ninth race, Munce picked up the ride yesterday on the very genuine John Size-trained Clean Sweep, who made it five wins for the season and could very possibly be putting himself in the frame for a Hong Kong Derby start.
'Clean Sweep was probably underrated today,' said Size, who has transformed the gelding this term.
