I AM sure readers are aware of the problems relating to Hongkong Telecom's fax services.
I would like, however, to refer to another aspect of Telecom's service. Our company has had problems with Hongkong Telecom's mobile phone roaming services since September.
That was when we renewed our licence and since then Telecom has transferred our registration from a Shenzhen roamer to a Foshan roamer, even though most of our business is in Shenzhen.
The transfer of the roamer means that we cannot receive local calls in Shenzhen. We are forced to pay extra IDD calls in Shenzhen when using the mobile phone.
What is so annoying is that although we made several complaints by phone and in writing, we have never received a reply from Hongkong Telecom to our letters.
Every we call them, we speak to different people, explaining the problems again and again and yet, there is no positive response.
