An upcoming exhibition by award-winning artist Louise Lee at the Goethe-Institut Hongkong is all about looking through things - metaphorically and literally.

The 10 works on show are semi-transparent photographs of buildings floating over drawings of her father.

Lee's father came from the mainland and worked on building sites in Hong Kong from the late 60s to the early 80s when the Housing Authority embarked on huge public housing projects.

He helped to build the fabric of Hong Kong, but he has paid a price for it - one of Lee's works in the exhibition shows her father in a mask.
