Previously, he was vice-president of Asia-Pacific for Network Appliance, where he oversaw development of the region's market. Glendon Oon Assistant food & beverage manager InterContinental Grand Stanford Mr Oon has international experience in restaurant management and operations. At the hotel, his expertise will be used to ensure consistent five-star service to guests patronising its food and beverage outlets. Mr Oon was earlier manager of Kitchen and Nanu, two restaurants in South Korea. He has also spent two years at Westin Stamford and Westin Plaza in Singapore. Graham D. Vink Senior vice-president Ruder Finn Asia Mr Vink, a former award-winning US journalist and experienced crisis manager, will provide assistance on crisis and issues management, media relations, and public affairs programmes for clients in Asia. He was previously senior vice-president at Fleishman-Hillard in Washington. Mr Vink's experience includes creating favourable coverage in the western media for a Russian firm threatened by an illegal takeover. Hans Rohrer Chief executive Zetex Semiconductors Mr Rohrer brings with him extensive experience and a good track record in the semiconductor industry. He held several managerial positions at National Semiconductor between 1980 and 1998, including that of vice-president and general manager of Europe. Later, Mr Rohrer became the president of TSMC-Europe, the world's largest independent semiconductor wafer foundry. He was also CEO of Acuid, a venture funds-backed technology firm. David Maund Managing director Alvarez & Marsal Asia Mr Maund focuses on restructuring (debtor and creditor advisory), crisis and interim management, turnaround management and non-performing loans advisory services. He has played a leading role in many high-profile transactions in Asia. Mr Maund's mandates have included the restructuring of Thai Petrochemical Industry, WorldCom's Asia-Pacific operations and Forefront International Holdings. Steve Redman Vice-president EMC Software Group for Asia-Pacific & Japan Mr Redman will be responsible for sales operations in the region. He will also play a key role in leveraging the integration of recently acquired companies - Documentum, Legato, Captiva and Acartus. Previously, Mr Redman was managing director of the company's operations in Australia and New Zealand. He has previously held top managerial positions at firms such as Lucent Technologies and Fuji Xerox. Rob Forsyth Managing director Asia-Pacific Sophos Mr Forsyth has been promoted to drive the company's business in the Asia-Pacific IT security market. He will continue working in Sydney, where he has served as managing director for Australia and New Zealand for the past three years. Before joining Sophos, he spent five years with the Sydney Organising Committee for the Olympic Games.
