FREE TOUR OF DESIGN EXHIBITION

Douglas Young, designer and founder of lifestyle store G.O.D., will give  students a tour  of one of his stores and the exhibition Mega Crossover - 4 x Home, which is being held at the Hong Kong Heritage Museum in Sha Tin.

The  show features works by Young and four other  local artists  - photographer Wing Shya, actor and DJ Eric Kot, writer Chip Tsao and designer and art administrator Mathias Woo Yan-wai. Their works explore the idea of home.

The guided tour will take place on February 11.  The tour is free, but limited to a maximum of 50 students on a first-come-first-served basis. Participants will be divided into two groups. To register, visit www.hk.heritage.museum.  For more information, call 2180 8260.

MOZART BROUGHT TO LIFE

An exhibition on the life of Mozart will run from February 9 to March 12 in the foyer of the Hong Kong Cultural Centre.

The first part of the exhibition shows  Mozart as a boy and gives viewers a glimpse of the numerous concerts tours he performed. The second part is dedicated to the adult Mozart, living and working in Vienna during the last 10 years of his life. Portraits of his wife, children, and other important personalities of his time will also be featured.
