Art deco has always been synonymous with glamour, boldness and decadence, which explains its appeal to Giorgio Armani. In his latest tribute to the era, remembered for its stylised motifs and geometric patterns, the designer has produced a cocktail bar and a cabinet that are Casa Armani's first limited-edition items. Numbered and signed by the man himself, Reverie (left, $145,600 to $172,500) and Riesling (right, $151,000) recall the 1920s and their emphasis on indulgence. Both pieces feature bronze-effect brass and are lined in fabric in Armani's favourite coffee colours. The designs have pulling power but probably as attractive, if not more so, is their exclusivity.
