Long career in the media

British-born Ted Thomas describes himself on his company website as 'arguably Hong Kong's best-known English language media personality'.

Host of radio and TV shows for 30 years and publisher of more than 100 titles, Mr Thomas - real name Thomas Edward Juson - shows no sign of slowing despite turning 77 this year.

He formed Corporate Communications 30 years ago and has given media training to a variety of prominent people.

Before setting up his company, Mr Thomas was a senior broadcaster at RTHK and later head of publicity and promotions at the government's Information Services Department.
