A word of encouragement goes a long way

There are many problems and challenges in life. Encouragement from others is important.

For example, competitors in a long-distance race will be very tired as they reach the last stretch. Will power is essential, but support from others is too.

However, sometimes teachers lecture students before or after a race. I don't agree with this tactic, as it puts pressure on students.

How would you feel if no one ever said an encouraging word to you?

Encouragement isn't difficult to express, but it has great meaning.
