POLYU TO BUILD TOURISM SCHOOL
Hong Kong Polytechnic University is to build a new premises for its School of Hotel and Tourism Management, including a teaching hotel, conference facilities, teaching restaurants, research centres, classrooms, offices and new staff quarters, on the site of its former staff quarters in Tsim Sha Tsui East. The first part of the $600 million premises will be ready for the 2008/09 academic year.
HKIED WINS CARING ENDORSEMENT
The Hong Kong Institute of Education has been awarded the 'Caring Organisation Logo' by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service for its efforts in caring for the community and commitment to corporate citizenship.
OPENU AND HOSPITALS SIGN PACT
The Open University of Hong Kong, Castle Peak Hospital and Hong Kong Sanatorium and Hospital have signed a collaboration agreement to run nursing programmes.
