Bespoke services are all the rage in the fashion industry, with designer labels introducing made-to-measure services in their boutiques. Luxury French accessories brand Andre Ross has returned to its roots (it initially made bags to order) by launching a bespoke service at the boutique in IFC Mall. Customers can choose from a range of materials (below), including embossed crocodile leather, nappa leather and python-print sheepskin for their customised creation, while colours range from classic tones to brighter shades. Details, such as trimmings and hardware, can also be specified. Orders take about four weeks to fill and prices start at $18,000. Apparently, model Eunis Chan was one of the first to try the service and chose a cow-printed pony-hair style with 23-carat-gold-plated details. Andre Ross is at shop 2096, IFC Mall, Central, tel: 2234 7033.
