What's your favourite subject at school and why?

Novel and creative writing. It gives me a chance to express my feelings through poetry and short stories. I also get to read a variety of different novels, each conveying their own themes, symbolism and lessons. I've been inspired by every essay I've written and book I've read for this subject.

Chemistry. You'll never know what will happen when you mix together chemicals unless you've studied it. Explosion? Change of colour? Evolve into gas? You won't be satisfied knowing only the potential outcomes. Studying chemistry helps you uncover myths.

I'm mad about history. A history teacher who spent half of each class recounting 'this day in history' ignited my interest, which was further flamed by visits to the British Museum and my ability to wheedle points out of history essay questions.
