Under an arrangement between the two companies, HP will market, sell, distribute and provide training, service and support for NetWare products for all HP platforms, including Intel and PA/RISC-based systems.

In turn, Novell will include copies of its leading network operating system, NetWare, with sales of HP's latest NetServer systems, designed for high-end networking solutions.

''HP and Novell have been working closely for several years now,'' said HP computer products country manager Andrew Mak.

''Novell's participation in the launch of our new NetServer systems shows how we are leveraging each other's strengths to provide powerful solutions to local users.'' Several special packages are available under the deal.
