TEXTILE machinery manufacturer Fong's Industries has reported a 98.63 per cent profit rise to $33.82 million for the six months to September 30.

  Turnover rose 15.28 per cent to $283.97 million.

  Earnings per share fully diluted rose to 9.5 cents from 5.6 cents. An interim dividend of two cents per share was declared.
